SES 8 pastel-colored launch to the sound of car alarms

A very pastel-colored launch at the Cape tonight of ‪SES 8‬ on +SpaceX's ‎Falcon 9‬ to the sound of car alarms. Third time's a charm after a few scrubs!

SES 8 was a beautiful launch. Check out the video below to see how the brightness changes the focus of the camera.
Soaring into space.

SpaceX successfully launched the SES-8, a geostationary communication satellite operated by SES, with a Falcon 9 ver 1.1. This set of photos in this following video were taken on rapid fire, with a photo approximately ever 0.5 seconds, making the launch video near real time. The second half of photos are of the vehicle punching through the atmosphere.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the SES 8 communications satellite. SES 8 will provide Ku-band and Ka-band direct-to-home broadcasting and network services over the Asia-Pacific region. The rocket flew in the Falcon 9 v1.1 configuration with upgraded Merlin 1D engines, stretched fuel tanks, and a payload fairing. Delayed from July, August, October, Nov. 1, Nov. 12 and Nov. 22.
