4am AEHF3 Launch on Atlas V (18 Sept. 2013): Jen and I closed on a condo in Cape Canaveral and decided to camp-out in our new place to watch the early morning launch from our balcony. We had two hours of sleep and then I spent over an hour with one eye open watching Spaceflightnow.com's webcast waiting for the house warming launch. Image is a composite of two shots, each 30 seconds long. The rocket came south and it looked like it was drifting over our heads after it threaded the needle through the clouds. HDR merge and slight level adjustment to get back to natural colors. Other photos on Facebook public album: LINK
