Launch period: 1803 GMT (1:03 p.m. EST) Launch site: SLC-41, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida The United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket (AV-034) deployed the U.S. military's X-37B, a prototype spaceplane also called the Orbital Test Vehicle, on the program's third mission. The rocket flew in the 501 vehicle configuration with a five-meter fairing, no solid rocket boosters and a single-engine Centaur upper stage. Moved up from Oct. 26.
